Logging In

Login using your ISU NetID and password. If you forget your password, see 195 Durham for assistance. To change your password, login to www.asw.iastate.edu and manage user.

Only students in aerospace engineering and students taking AerE courses have access to computer resources in the Aerospace Engineering Department.

Open 24 hours except during posted reserved times.

Howe Building Hours:

  • Monday-Friday: 6:00 A.M. - Midnight
  • Saturday: 7:00 A.M. - 10:00 P.M.
  • Sunday: 7:00 A.M. - Midnight

Remote Access Servers and High Performance Computing

Remote Desktop

You can now use some of the software installed on the Windows lab computers from your home or from the Linux Lab in a Windows Environment. Simply use remote desktop with the hostname: ts1.aere.iastate.edu

MSDN Academic Alliance

Microsoft Software that is available for you to download. Some packages include most version of Windows Operating System (XP Pro, Server 2003, etc), Visual Studio, and many other Microsoft Products.
