Normally a student must rank in the top half of his or her class to gain full admission. Accepted students may begin study at the start of the fall, spring, or summer session.
Applications must be received by January 1 for admission the following fall semester and by September 1 for admission the following spring semester.
GRE scores are required for all applicants. International students must submit a TOEFL score of 550 or higher (213 for computer-based TOEFL).
It is not possible, for any reason, for the Admissions Office or the department to waive or defer the required application fee.
Three letters of recommendation and a personal statement of purpose are also required.
