M.Ed. Higher Education Student Affairs, Iowa State University, 2016

Gabriella joined the department in September, 2016.
I have worked with students since my undergraduate years and decided to keep at it. Before coming here I was a Graduate Assistant in the TRIO Student Services office at Iowa State University.

  • I love food! I like cooking and trying to remake my mom’s amazing Mexican dishes; I’m getting there.

  • If ‘meme-ing’ is a word, I consider that to be a hobby of mine. It’s true when they say a picture is worth a thousand words.

  • I am the first in my family to obtain a Master’s degree and I come from a n adverse family background but that’s never stopped me and I am passionate in helping students realize what their hard work can accomplish.

  • I tend to not express my feelings much but I find myself often watching Youtube videos that make me cry. I like feeling all the feels sometimes, lol.

  • I do not have an engineering background, closest thing to it would be my older brother who did Chemical Engineering. I still have an inner nerd in me, but I didn’t go that route in college.
