Steve Paris (BSAerE ‘75, MSAerE ’77, both from ISU) is a Technical Fellow of Boeing Research and Technology. He was one of the original authors of the renowned aerospace industry standard software Optimal Trajectories by Implicit Simulations (OTIS) program, which won the 2008 NASA Software of the Year Award and was named to the R&D magazine’s Top 100 Technologies for 2009. Steve has supported a wide variety of vehicles ranging from flying cars to spacecraft. He was recently appointed to be the Boeing Liaison to Iowa State University.
As a part of the Boeing Week, Steve will be visiting ISU on November 2nd and 3rd. He has specifically requested a time to meet and interact informally with students in Aerospace Engineering. Please come to join many other students to meet Steve, and have your burning questions answered.
