- dedicated to celebrating student learning through undergraduate research.

The 3rd annual Research in the Capitol event will take place in the Rotunda of the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines on Monday, March 10. Twenty students from each of the Regents' universities (ISU, UI, UNI) are selected to display their research posters to legislators, reporters, and top university administrators. The students function as ambassadors from their universities, highlighting a broad range of research topics of interest in the state.

Brian Kaplinger, Matt Martin, Sam Wagner, and Nathan Willis from the aerospace engineering department will present their research findings, discuss how research has enriched their education, and share with state legislators, state officials, and the public the way in which their investigations contribute to Iowa.  Further information about this event can be found from the following link:   http://www.honors.iastate.edu/current/research.php
