Vance Coffman receives Honorary Doctor of Science degree and gives Commencement address at Spring 2006 Graduation

 

Aerospace engineering alum Vance Coffman will receive an honorary doctor of science degree and give the commencement address at the Iowa State University undergraduate ceremony on Saturday, May 6, in Hilton Coliseum. The program begins at 1:30 p.m. Coffman, who received his BS at Iowa State in 1967, is the retired chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Lockheed Martin Corporation. The commencement ceremony for master’s and doctoral students is at 8 p.m. Friday, May 5, in Stephens Auditorium.
