Welcome!

My research is in the general areas of unsteady aerodynamics and aeroacoustics. My specific research interests are:

  • Dynamic stall modeling and mitigation
  • Bio-inspired designs for aerodynamic noise reduction
  • Wind turbine and windfarm aerodynamics & aeroacoustics
  • Space-time and data-enhanced methods for fluid flow modeling
  • Turbomachinery (fan) noise

About me

I am a professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Iowa State University. Prior to joining ISU as an assistant professor in 2012, I spent seven years at the General Electric Company researching various aerodynamics and aeroacoustics aspects of turbomachines and wind turbines. I was born and raised in India.
