Summer Classes

The AEGSO plans to hold a series of graduate level seminars in the form of summer session classes to cover new research topics starting the third week of June (June 17th). In this seminar series, volunteer graduate students select a research topic and teach the subject material, covering its basics and fundamentals, as wells as having a hands-on experience. Each topic is covered in at least four one‑hour sessions, followed by questions and answers.

The purpose is to introduce students to advanced topics not generally covered in standard coursework throughout the engineering department. The list of classes offered are:

High Performance Computing and GPU Programming

Multi Physics/Scale Modeling/Simulation of Nanomaterials (using COMSOL)
