  • Nov 2015: Our research on owl wing-inspired blade designs is featured in the Iowa Space Grants Consortium “Comet” magazine.
  • Oct 2015: We receive 250K CPU hours on the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility as director’s discretionary grant
  • Jul 2015: We receive NSF support for “Predicting Dynamic Response of Structural Cables and Power Transmission Lines in Hurricanes and Other Windstorms” (with Dr. Partha Sarkar). Read about it here.
  • Jul 2015: Aaron Rosenberg is headed to EPFL (Switzerland) for an international research experience
  • Jun 2015: We are awarded ~1M CPU hours by NSF XSEDE to pursue our research efforts in Unraveling Silent Owl Flight to Develop Ultra-Quiet Aircraft and Wind Turbines
