Submitting Your Project
STEP 1 Complete section A “Project & Contact Information”
STEP 2 Send an e-mail to andyjobo@iastate.edu for CNC work or cnnelson@iastate.edu for 3D printing
- Email subject should have one of the following that matches your purpose
- CNC Router
- 3D Printer
- Questions
- Body of email should include
- Your name
- Your project
- An attached file of your part or a statement about your project
- Additional instructions such as material types
STEP 3 Give completed form in person to Christine Nelson in 1200 Howe Hall. Bring a flash drive containing .STL files for 3D Printers and .STLPRT for CNC Routers.
STEP 4 Await e-mail stating your estimate is complete and pick it up from Christine Nelson in 1200 Howe Hall
Project Approval and Your Advisor
After an estimate is made your advisor should complete section C “Approval Signature & Submit to Fabricate”. After it is signed you can return it to Christine Nelson in 1200 Howe Hall and your project will be completed in the order it was received.
You will receive an e-email when your project is finished. If you have questions about the progress of your project, e-mail the address listed above.
