II-B-3 Combustion of Propane

Reference: MDO Test Suite (1996 – 2007)
Description: The combustion of propane problem is a hierarchic optimization problem involving one system and 3 subsystems. It deals with combustion of propane in air and involves 11 design variables. There are also two fixed parameters p (pressure in atmospheres) and R (the air to fuel ratio).
